new tool box and lights

i got a new tool box today and it had bolts in the top so i replaced the bolts with lights what yall think?

What are the lights for? Do you drive backwards or something.

to see backing up in the dark or on the trails at night.

maybe do it like my buddy has them just facing more towards the rear.

holy crap your truck needs to be cleaned out and washed

but the lights are a good idea. i plan on mounting some on the back soon enough.

thats actually a pretty good idea, perfect for fiddling with tools when its dark

dont put them low i made that mistake i ripped them off first trip to the hole i might put a third one in the middle pointing straight back im not sure yet though my dog might get pissed if i take her seat on the tool box i know the two of them light up the world ha.

ha i am this week me and my brother went riddin weekend before last and my slave cylinder went out and i just got it fixed so it hasnt been moved till we started workin on it friday night

yea it opens all the way with about 1/4" maybe or alittle less

rear lights are great. You may only use them once a year but when you need em, they are priceless. I got the oval 55 watt small lights from Walmart. They work perfect for what I need them for and I can angle them any way I want.

my dad uses his everyday, backing up dark logging roads on the edge of a mountain at 4 in the mornin, you might want them lol

Seriously, clean your truck. I'm not crazy about the light in that location. They are kinda tacky imo.

yea there are garbage cans where i live but that invovle taking the trash to it why walk when you got the bed of a truck to throw it in yea the lights work good for hooking up trailors at night

i put a third light on it today i think it looks better then it did with two and it helps a whole lot having a light facing straight back.
