new truck, fresh start.

Just bought an 11 ranger sport. I am going to do a spray on bed liner, roll up cover, hid kit for fogs and main, bug deflector, undercoating and window tint. I like the look of the bull bar but think it might look funny on a stock truck with no lift. Thinking about wheels, but I like the stock ones and don't wanna drop the dough on new ones...

What are some ways I can improve the fuel economy? I thought my csvt was bad with 20mpg...

What engine do you have? The 4.0 doesn't get the best mileage, but some on here get around 20 mpg. I get around 15 with 4.10 gears and 265/75's.

I have a 2008 Ford Ranger stock 4.0 liter auto and I get an average of about 16mpg around town.

You bought the wrong engine option if gas mileage is a concern. Not much you can do to improve the gas mileage on a brand new, stock truck.
