I'm thinking about ditching the EDGE on the side of the door. What you think? leave it or ditch it?

Also think that paint is different color under there? had it for over a year now.

how about adding the thin thick thin stripes down the side and leave the EDGE there like on the GT 500s and such...

 

I definitely think you need something on the side.. it looks weird with nothing. Personally i think the EDGE looks good but could be replaced by something that fits better... tho i have no idea what that would be

 

I don't think your paint will be a differnt color, it isn't really in the sun, and thats usually what fades the paint color. I took my edge sticker off and it was on there for almost 3 years, and the color is the same, and mine was in the sun...

 

ah if i did that i would paint the bottom rocker silver and peel the EDGE up to show blue.

idk im thinking it kinda looks cheap since its vynl and not paint compared to my hood and tailgate... but maybe im the only one that notices its not paint.

 

take it off.....if the paint is any different at all, then have the whole truck buffed out....that would take care of the problem!

not a fan of swirl marks..

 

i didn't say you do it! have it done by a pro.....then if there is swirl marks, make them repaint it.........a place by me charges $50 to do it.........

Beard if it is done correctly there will never be swirl marks. buffed my splash an ungodly amount and there wasnt any swirl marks

 

Wish I knew that before I took a freakin craftsman pro buffer to my truck. I got nowhere fast and took it back. Luckily I bought it from the returns stock for half the price and took it back for a full refund. heh

 

Looks fine to me :) Better than on the flareside or on the top of the bed.

 

I like it, it's different, if you do remove it though at least paint it back on there.

 

I like it on there. If you decide to take it off I think something else should go in its place.

 

Take em off i was never to fond of the Edge graphics.

kinda looks outta place... u should get a stick that says like "EDGE off-road" or something and put it with the 4x4 sticker or fx4 stickers go... kinda like ford's idea only custom... i duno, if u like it keep it.

 

If you look at it in the sun you can still see where it used to say Edge. But not bad at all. I don't like emblems and I wish I could remove the Ranger ones without the holes in the fenders.

I like it I think it looks good. BUt I say take it off. It says edge everywhere else. Plus isn't that why you took the orange edge off in the first place? For a cleaner look? I say take it off and leave it blue down there
