Anyone know the paint color number of my factory orange 98 2dr ford ranger. I know where the sticker should be located on my truck but it's been removed for some reason. Thanks guys and girls.

 

Go to Paintscratch.com , just list your truck and it will pop up all the colors that they had in that particular year. Then you can match it by sight.

 

mines called autumn orange, and theres a mandarin orange. autumn is more redish

 

yeah, there are different "oranges", I had an orange 99 and the code was "BG"

 

As far as i know there is only one orange color for 98, at least that's all i can find on any website. It just looks different than mine. Maybe mines faded or something. Thanks for the replies, i'm going to try the paintscratch.com post and go with the BG colour code.

 

So, i went out and got the paint (BG) and it doesn't seem to match. I'm not sure if it's because my paint may have faded or because it's the wrong colour. If there is anyone out there that could give me a for sure code for their orange 98 truck that would be great. Thanks again.
