so I am going to be taking off all the paint on my truck and removing all the rust most is just sefis rust.
so sould I get a sand blaster to do this? would it be faster than just using a grinder with some sand paper? |
This seems to me to be a job for a professional, not something I would try on my own.
If its a very old truck I would try sanding it down and using a spray-on rust inhibitor/stabilizer.. I know of a few but the names are escaping me at the moment. If the sheetmetal is that far gone you may want to consider just replacing them, junkyard parts are usually cheap, or if you have a 4x4 maybe its an excuse to get prerunner fiberglass fenders? |

I am not looking to have a show truck by any means just a OK looking truck that I can be prod of because I did all the work on it. |
