Westin Bull Bar Question

Bought a Westin Bull Bar from a local shop and they installed it on my 2011 Ford Ranger Sport 4x4... My question is they said the Skid Plate did not fit under there.. and that they would have to cut it some to fit with the bar under there.. Is this correct.. Im a construction equipment mechanic and am not home to look at it. Did you guys re-install the skid plate.. The truck is brand new.. i just bought it 3 days ago lol.. the skid plate is def needed to keep everything from getting in the engine bay.. I told them to figure it out and i'll take it back to them at another time.

Oh and when i stopped to pick it up right before they closed i looked underneath to see how it looked... They were going to keep the skid plate and not tell me about it bc they said most people dont want them back anyways... I said you're kidding me right. Be a little more professional than that... sneaky sneaky

They won't fit without removing or modifying it... it says so on the Westin website. I don't know how much needs to be cut out for the brackets to fit because I had already removed my skid plate when I put my lift on.
