Painted Wheels Advice.
 

So I have a 2007 Ranger XLT in that Gunmetal/Asphault Gray color. I like the color a lot but with the chrome wheels I feel it is too bright. My wheels are in great shape (just a lot of brake dust)

1.) Would I be crazy to paint them black or would that look good?

2.) If I paint them, can they ever be returned to what they were originally?

just painted mine similar situation. i primed them and two coats of paint and clear coat they look great. as far as getting paint off you can sand it off but i dont suggest that

Gotcha, the only reason I ask about removal is that I am not 100% sure that I will like the black. Do you have any pics/opinions on yours? Are they the same wheels? Thanks a lot.
