hey guys i have a black '98 ranger and I just ordered some purple ccfl's to light the grill up. i was wondering if anyone else has done something and if they have any pics so i can see if its really where i want them. Thanks

 

I have two LED emergency light "pods" mounted in my grille. I love the look of it:

 

im thinking more of like an underglow type thing but in the grill

Andrew you might want to check with local/state law enforcement before you install them.
Some take a dim view of any front facing lights that are not white or amber.

 

yeah i cant do red or blue but my purple is legal in ohio but west virginia will get alittle upset about it. But im new to this car wiring thing and im not exactly sure how to get my wires through the firewall. I know its probably simple but does anyone have any pics from there lights they added?

 

Same as for amp wires. find where your other wires go in. tape you wire to a piece of stiff coat hanger and push throw the gasket. it will seal around the wire.
