Ok guys, i bought some nerf bars off of EBAY a few months ago. I tried to install them and i can't figure it out. It came with no directions!! So then i took it to a shop and they could figure it out either. So, i was wondering if anybody could send me some pics of how your nerf bars are mounted to your trucks. Thx guys.

the 2 door ext. cab and 4 ext. cab door have different mounting locations IIRC....so that could be the prob

 

are these the stock ford ones?

i don't have pics of the bars, but i can get them (they're in my storage). But i have a the 2 door ranger. I would like to have pictures if possible. Thanks.

 

Hmm i had this problem when I bought my bars... if you have a 2 door truck and bought 4door bars (like i did) u need a set of the rear brackets. I got my bars in like december of 04... and just emailed my dealership about WHERE i could buy the right brackets (i failed to mention i bought the bars on ebay, and NOT the dealer) and about a week later, the dealership sent me, FREE OF CHARGE the correct brackets. Further more, upon my own inspection theres a HUGE difference in brackets. To night when i take pics of my new headlights, ill snap a few of how the bars are mounted on my truck.

If you have the wide step, meaning the step is like 3/4 of the bar's lengtrh, u have a 4 door bar... same as me... i personally think the 4 door bars look better than the 2 door bars.
