Painting my bumper

I am wanting to paint my chrome bumper to black. I have been using the duplicolor perfect match spray paint so far and i love the color and quality of the paint. Do you think this will look good? I painted the valace with rustoleum and I HATE it. So I am going to repaint that and at the same time sand down the chrome bumper and paint it also. Is the perfect match my best bet or is there a better product out ther?

I've had good luck with Dupli-Color. Go for it.

Why not trade someone who already has a black bumper? I have one. Tons of guys probably want a chrome bumper.

Did you paint over chrome? How durable is the paint over chrome?

Only plastic, but with the proper prep there shouldn't be a problem.

You have to sand the chrome down with 80 grit first so you don't have any shiny spots. Then hit it with some self etching primer. Then go over that with regular auto primer and then put your topcoat on and then your clear. It is an easy process just takes a good amount of time to do thats why I have been putting it off so long, lol

i did all of the above, minus the self-etching primer because i couldnt find any (just to find some in an obvious spot after painting) It has held up pretty good so far.
