lol been wanting to for a while now but cant figure out how many qts it will take. dose anyone know?or know a site i can go to, to find out. thanks all once i get the cash and have my truck fixed ill be adding more pics soon.

There are a few members on here that have painted their trucks. I'm sure one of them will chime in. I sure hope you are going to do a lot of body work before you try and paint.

yea def lol im pretty good at the body work and stuff lol. i know it needs alot of it gonna take the wire wheel to the rust to see if its surface or what and repair it if its not gonna fill the dents and all that good stuff lol,

o and as for the front and rear bumpers there just gonna be replaced lol theres no hope for em :( lol

and lucky for me the garage i work at has a bay that we keep our tow trucks in so i can spray it in there lol have good air compressor and a real good paint gun there to so im set on all that.

That's good. I'm sure good prep work will make a huge difference in the final outcome. If it's not just surface rust, you may wanna cut it out and replace pieces where needed. A lot more work, but you don't wanna paint over a spot that is gonna be a problem again later. Good luck tho, truck has a lot of potential.

yea def hear u there i was def gonna do that i know there is a few spots in my bed on the wheel wells that are really bad i need to put a few pieces there and possbly replace my pass side door and my tailgate as well might make a custom gate like plum crazys. not sure yet tho

Depends on the paint and the colour! Your best bet is to talk to someone at the store you're buying the paint from.

just gonna get the dupli color 1 qt stuff think thats all i can get around here and just gonna respray it black i love the black lol its just so scratched and damaged it needs a good repainting

How many cans are you thinking of picking up? Do they sell it in gallons?

That should be plenty if you're sticking with black! Depending on where you're getting it from you may be better off to grab an extra one or two quarts if it's returnable!

nice and it is lol was gonna grab 5 qts of primer and 5 of clear to but not sure about the primer ill have to see
