Fender Flare install

so i ordered some 06+ flares and i was wondering how to mark the spots to redrill the holes for the tabs

I am gonna mock then up using some 3m tape 2 see if i really like them before i drill anything

I would just 3m tape them up there and use the toyota tape but i offroad alot and they need 2 hold on the truck good

just hold them up there with some good tape and take out the rivets I believe they come out. use that as your way to drill the holes, use the plastic fasteners to mount them too.

If you decide you don't like them I'll buy them off of you. Depending on price.

should look good, get some pics as soon as you get them, i wanna know what they look like with an 01-03 bumper. im trying to find one to swap for my 08 bumper. as for drilling the new holes, probably just a cardboard mock-up or something will be your best bet.

I would just leave the plastic mounting tabs in the new flares then put a little dot of grease on the tips of them. Then when you hold it up where you want it the grease will mark the spot for you. Then center punch and drill.
