i have an A.R.E that matches my power dome. only downside, is my 7ft surfboard doesn't fit. although a CLEAN alternative is roll'n lock. my dad has it on his silverado and it looks REALLY GOOD! plus, has different settings, so you don't lose your whole bed.

Well my intentions , are to put a cover to hold gear in the bed of the truck right now I have a 42x24x24knnack site safe in there but sometimes Its just not enough room .
And for looks and some security I want a good hard tanue Im still going to get 2 32x24x12site safes and mount near the tailgate to house my tools but the easy replaceable stuff can just hang out where ever there room .
Wich brings me to another question how secure are hard tanues would you trust them ?

A.R.E actually covers the top of the tail gate, so it AINT coming down. i've never had any problems (exception: forgetting to lock it). but then again, i live in a suburban area w/ LOW crime.

Here's mine, it's the LoRider tonneau cover made by Raider
It's really secure, a nice solid Twist-lock on it.

Yeah most of my hand tools will be in two smaller site safes for added security but bulkier stuff that I only carry back and forth to lease and range will just be back there , like long weapons cases , shovel , recovery gear , clothes , and few other ods and ends . By no means do I need a safe just some assurence you cant walk up with a screwdriver and pop it open .
