Possible bed replacement

Hey all, my bed mounts are rotting a bit, the bed is falling down on the right side, it's about 2 inches below where it should be. Are the mounts repairable, or should I just find another bed and replace it? I've found one that the owner says has no rust, includes the bed, a tall cap, light assemblies, and the tailgate for $600, does that seem like a decent price? Thank you to everyone.

Older thread, but have you replaced the bed yet? I'm in the process now myself.

I actually just bought a new truck. There were some other issues, I'm in the process of parting it out. From what research I've done, as long as you have the power to physically lift up the bed, it's not a super tough job.

Congrats on the new truck!!!
As it is, I'm rebuilding the two front crossmembers on a box I just bought.
Oh, I've got the power, it's called a frontend loader! LOL
