No engine block heater.
I'm going to follow the wires later today and figure out what it is for.

that in the picture is the fog light wire. i do not have anything like that on my truck.

your best bet would be to start a new thread with a better title asking what that is. this will grab the attention of the electrical gurus.

I just followed the wires from the "mystery harness"; a pack of 5 wires, 2-red, 1-black, 1-orange, and 1-other color run in wire loom up to a main pack of wires in large loom right near the battery at the header panel.
I'm not worried about what it is, if I get a bumper which shows the wires i'll move them to the rear of the bumper or somewhere.

Haha...I haven't been worried about them since people were saying that they are not airbag sensors. (post 13)
If they were airbag sensors I would be worried about moving them.
I'm just wondering what the other harness is, not really wondering, but I think some other people on the topic were trying to figure out what it is.

Can someone post a picture of the dixon bros bumper? With more of the truck in the pic than their site has? Thanks, I'm looking into one.

And to rideac1, if you decide not to take the whole bumper off, but want the look, you can do something like mine. It is a light bar for a bronco, but works well on my truck.

I love the Dixon Bros bumper, yeah I don't really want to take off my stock bumper but will to put the Dixon on.
I want a whole prerunner bumper like the Dixon, and not just a bar like the bronco one like you have.

Good to know that it's a great bumper.
