remove the grill?

remove the grill?

how do i get the grill off the 4 or 6 tabs that its hooked into???
my fingers are hurting...

If they are the tabs on the surround then I used a flat head screw driver. Just pry the tab back and pop the grill out. Make sure not to let the tab pop back in, if it does you have to start over.

i wasnt planning on using my stock grille again so i just tweaked all the parts of the grille that were around the tabs...of course i then had to zip tie my stocker back when i traded in...

^^ ha. im sure they liked the zip ties.
it seems that it should be as easy at it sounds but there are two tabs. i cant use one flat head to get both tabs off.
hmm. well i gotta go out for a little but ill try later today. I gots new hella lights that i want to put in.

2 tabs? You should have more than two. And you can pop them out one at a time.

ohhh...yea there are two tabs in between the grille surround and the bumper...are those what you are talking about? on mine i can squeeze those tabs and pull the whole thing off after a few bolts on top....

oh yeah. well if those are the tabs you mean then either squeeze them with your fingers or use some needle nose pliers.

alright thanks guys i got it.. just had to pull a little harder on the grill
