A quick questin with the Headlight Mod

I've got my headlights out, and I'm going to put them in the oven. My only question is, are the screw-like tabs on the back supposed to come off? I can't figure out how to get them off. Ao if anyone could help, that'd be great.

They kinda pop off, did it on accident on mine. But they don't necessarily need to come off, just be careful. They'll be hot as hell coming out of that oven

OK, I'll jst keep an eye on them...if they don't need to come off, no sense putting myself at more of a risk of breaking something, eh?

How long did you put them in the oven? I'd be scared of melting the darn things into a puddle of goo. Guess I'm a chicken****
