That looks great! Are you planning on painting it all body colour or something different?

Now for a Raptor Grille for the Ranger… ?

Hood looks good and is different spin than the Power Dome.

How about flat blk paint… ?

Raptor hood info

The company who makes them for around $ 350 or less, plus shipping, Southern Calif guys can pick up=no shipping.
Available style for 2000-03 hood & 2004-2010. It still needs some addition work like I said in the start of the thread,
I'm just a customer testing the prototype.
thanks =brian

well would you mind giving us a heads up when you feel like you've fine-tuned it to where you are happy with it. i would be interested in one with a latch. so all I have to do is have have it painted to match

Yeah let us know man. I'd be all over this if you make ones with latches ( I'm not a hood pin guy)

raptor hood

Yes I agree about the hood pins. This is a racing prototype hood, For the desert racer this is fine. I'm waiting for the finished latch bracing hood to be made. This was for show & tell pictures. I still like it. Fit & finish is great.
I will probably paint it to match leaving the vents black.

sorry but im not a fan, fiberwerks has already had a raptor conversion out for awhile and i hate that even more. the raptor is a tools truck for bros with more money then brains. lift blocks, horrific useless shock angles and shocks(but they're fox BRO so they must be sickygnargnar), aluminum arms that cant be bump stopped, ricer graphics, and a price tag that would buy you a tow f350 and a built ranger. never anything id want to try and clone. to each his own enjoy.

That's a pretty unfair comparison. the fiberwerks bodykit and this hood aren't even remotely similar. From these pictures, this hood at least looks like it belongs on a ranger. Can't dog the man for creativity. what have you built from scratch recently?
