Been working on the truck for the last couple of weeks trying to get everything done while i am out looking for a new job.
Finished the overhead console and self dimming mirror, got the new console in. Finished up the stereo so what's next?
Came up with this idea! Can you guess what it is?. Need to make a couple more pieces drill two holes and do some welding some wiring and it should be done. Here's a picture of it so far.

 

I see nobody took a guess what it is so I'll tell you it is a electric tailgate lock. I finished it up today and tested it in the truck works great. Works with both door switches and the key fob for the passenger door.
Here are pictures of it finished first is in the unlock position second is the locked position and the last shows the offset to get it to clear the tailgate handle.
I'll get pictures of it in the truck tomorrow.
