I did mine a couple months ago cause my mud terrains where chipin the F*** out of the bottom of my truck i used a rattle can product i think it was called truck bed guard. I sprayed about 4 inches down from the body line and i love it! its not rough its nice and smooth and has not chipped yet i also did 6 coats so i made sure it was gonna be nice and thick. Heres a couple pics its kinda hard to see cause its a black truck but if i had a camera id take a couple close ups of it sorry.

I like the idea of the push pins in the holes. Finishes it off, and better than looking at those gaping holes.

Also depending on how rough the stuff is you use it can be a pain to clean.

Thats what I was wondering why people who have done this, used. I know the spray liner in my Ranger bed is a major PITA to keep clean!! I usually say "F it!" LMAO

I personally think having the rocker panels and flare area rhino-lined is a great thign to have on a highway/offroading truck... saves a bunch on paint chips, primer spots, and rust.

^^ It really is the whole front right corner of my bed was bare metal from all the rocks that were chipin away at it so that is why i went with the bed liner to cover it up and protect and it has defiantly done its job

I say don't do it just cause you have a level II as its kind of a rare truck. I don't know if they still sell it but they use to have a clear protectant in a spray can you could buy and spray on your truck. It would protect from chips and crap. I think it would just wash off with soap and a little elbow grease. I thought about doing it to my Camaro cause the front would always just get destroyed by rock chips.
