I have an 03 ranger FX4 level 2. and I tried swapping rims from an explorer 4Wd that had nicer (to me) rims but the front rims wont clear the calipers? is this normal. I always assumed that if the bolt patterns were the same then it would work

 

There are other factors than just bolt pattern. What year explorer did they come from?
