I have tried the emblem mod a couple times with no luck. What I am looking for is if someone has the hard plastic type emblem and they can get the hard plastic off and send it to me?? I would pay you for it, but I just cannot seem to get one apart without the silver FORD part coming out. I have read the how to and all but cannot get it. I have bases for the emblems, I would need the tailget size and the grill size for an 01 ranger. if you can help let me know!!!

Most of the time all the ovals I mod have at least 10% of the chrome Ford script and/or chrome oval come off during disassembly.

I've taken apart about 100+/- ovals from 4 1/2" up to 7" and out of them, I've only had maybe 5 that have the chrome remain intact after taking them apart. (That's why I have to charge more for all oem chrome ones... you're more likely to see BigFoot eating a cheezeburger in a WalMart parking lot wearing a string bikini than you are to get all the chrome to stay intact.)

I'll try to remember to sort through my ovals & see if I have any with the chrome intact.

Well im trying to figure it out. I want to take my emblem off my grill and paint it how do I do that? Or can I buy one!???
