Step Bar Install

Step Bar Install

I need some pictures of where the factory step bars actually mount on a 2006 Ranger. I have the STX but i know my buddy has an STX that has step bars... any pictures or explainations would help thanks..... Nick

There should be holes on the bottom of the frame rails on both sides of the truck. Give that a check. I have an 01 Edge, but as with everything else with the Rangers, much hasn't changed.

That's as best as I can do for ya buddy. Hopefully someone might have pics available...and of an 06 STX.

Do you have a 2 door or 4 door? they mount differently in the rear section, on the 2 door you will be bolting to the body not the frame(factory bars).

I have an 06 supercab and there are 2 bolt in the front and 3 in the rear. All bolted to the body not the frame. If you still havent figured it out I will take pics tomorrow.

07 4door here... there are little pockets in the rocker pannel that bolt plates sit in i believe it was 4 bolts in the rear and 2 up front..
