I have a step side and im getting frustrated finding a shell or a good tool box for the bed of my truck so i was thinking about converting it to a regular bed but i love the look of my step side need opinions

 

I had the same thoughts, but I hung in there and found 2 toppers, a tool box and a headache rack. Give it time, look EVERYWHERE, especially Craigslist and you'll find what you need. Keep the steppy bed!!

 

i found a black topper for it $50. hopefully going to go take a look at it soon!

 

I bought my DeeZee toolbox for mine off eBay and never found a shell when I was looking but they are out there. I also swapped beds to a regular before I sold it so I've had almost all the options your looking for. Just keep looking and you will find what you want. Or I am sure someone will want to trade beds. Stepsides were in high demand and are for the lowered community.

 

get a regular and take the sides off the step and mount them to the regular and make it a duelly

I got lucky and found my UWS toolbox on CL for $75.00. Cant get much better than that! They are definitely out there.
