Hey guys, I searched multiple times with no luck. If you have a link, I'd love to have it.

Problem:
I want a tonneau for my bed. Something that is strong and secure and most of all, affordable. Have had a few thiefs try to steal stuff recently. I'm thinking a roll style would be the best. I have a toolbox in the bed now. Color is not a factor for me. It doesn't need to match my truck.

Questions:
Any of you have any idea on a good brand?
Would a roll style still work with the added toolbox?
I carry a six foot ladder almost every day that sticks out the top of the tailgate. (I'm a painter) Would the roll style still work? Can I close and lock the roll style even if its not 100% closed to the tailgate?

These are the questions I have for now. Any help would be great!

I'm assuming you're referring to the all aluminum or polycarbonate rolling ones, not the fabric.

There are several companies that make them, RollNLock, Retrax, Access for examples.

I know for a fact they make some for beds with toolboxes, I just dont guarantee its for our mini beds.

I cant give a for sure answer on the locking if not all the way closed. I dont believe they will do that, but I dont have one.

I hope that's a start anyways.

 

Extang makes every style for our trucks with a toolbox version, I've been looking at them recently to get for myself. I'm pretty sure it can't be looked like halfway rolled shut.
