suface rust on frame?
 
im noticing a lil bit of rust startings on the frame....anyone paint the frame or use the rubberized undercoating on it if so what kind....pics please....used to be covered in grease till u let someone wash the truck n they spray the underbody will 88 cleaner degreaser...

if you want to do it right, paint the frame with POR-15. its meant for painting over rust and if the surface is cleaned and prepped right, nothing short of a grinder will get it off. i did my entire frame and suspension a couple years ago. it was a chore but it was worth it.

i dont have any pics of mine, but i used the assphalt(sp?) undercoating stuff that comes in a rattle can on my S15. its messy stuff putting it on, but its easy to clean and pretty much need a grinder to get the **** off.. i'll post some pics if i can find some..

There was an article on 4x4 mag, where they used Rust-Mort on the frame because of the rust attacking it, it looked like it did a good job, and it left a nice looking finish!
