The earlier power mirrors (1993~2001.5) have a completely different mount and mechanism that will not accept the Thunderbolt signal mirror glass.

The Thunderbolt signal mirrors cannot be used on manual mirrors from any year Ranger.

I think he was quoting it for reference for future buyers.

he edited his post AFTER I posted that comment. I know the signal mirror kit only fits power mirrors, didnt know it wont work on pre-01.5s

IDK if you saw his original post before editing but it went something like "I hope you bought another set of mirrors because these only work with power mirrors"

Theres ways to let people know things like the quoted he edited in...his origina post was not the way. Either way, Im happy with the purchase and will attempt to install them tomorrow. I'll also post pics for those interested in buying a set.

I'd like to get a set of those but the first thing I'd do is take off that Thunderbolt logo!

Post up many pics after you get them installed. I wish they would work with my truck but my build date is 10/01 so I don't think they will work with my mirrors.

You don't need 02+ mirrors. After about 2/01 the 01's came with the mirrors that will accept the replacements.

I do not believe so the 06+ mirrors are larger and more square than the 01-05 mirrors
