Body Lift help in Los Angeles

Hey everyone... I just ordered new rims with 33x12.5's and a Summit 3" body lift for my 01 2WD. I had it all lined up at a local suspension shop for an install. I called to set up the exact time only to learn that they no longer want to install my body lift. Now I have tons of parts coming and am facing a DIY install alone. Can I install this in my driveway myself? It seems incredibly intimidating, but I've done quite a bit to my other car and just need a little confidence booster!

My girlfriend has offered to help me with whatever I need, but she weighs barely 100 pounds and i doubt she could lift the cab off of me if it fell. So is there anyone local who wants to help out? I'm right next to LAX for reference. Thanks

You could definitely install the BL on your driveway if you have the time, but I would not try doing it alone. It would be best if you could find someone near you who has done one before so you have experience on your side, but that's just my opinion

I live in Westchester, near LAX, right next to the beach... I've now read through the instructions 5 full times and feel more confident than before. I feel that I'm going to get half way through and hit a snag. I'll be too far to turn back, but won't be able to move forward. I can see the auto trader add now: 1/2 a ranger for sale, you choose which half you want

no heavy lifting required. thats what a jack and a long piece of wood or two are for. to lift one side of the cab at a time. i'd help if you were closer.

but the directions are pretty self explanitory. can't really go wrong. definitely need another person though.

lol the OP isnt even online, we might want to consult him too

LAX isnt an hour, with decent traffic its 35-45 mins

but a short drive is worth the help of 3 other people i would think
