Body lift install suggestions. Tips please.

Hi.

I'm about ready to do the 1" BL tomarrow. Are there any tips that would be helpful for a guy who's never done a BL??? I definately pretty much know the bed will be cake. Are there any issues to pay attention to when it comes to the cab??

THANKS!!!

Shane

not torch as in cut, torch as in heat, the heat burns the lock tite up and with an impact it will slide right out.

Helpful tip that I should have done but didn't: Don't forget about the fan shroud. I forgot and heard something pop one time (fan shroud cracking) and then everything else went fine. I don't know if others would approve but I just cut my fan shroud out and left the radiator where it was because (I don't know if the tow package has a bigger radiator or not) my radiator is huge enough that it is still lined up with the block. It cools fine and I haven't seen any temps go above what they are normally at.

I don't think there's 1" between the shroud and the fan but I could be wrong. It has to be pretty close in order to get the "vacuum" affect through the radiator.
