I am going to take apart my mazda headlight housings and put in HID projectors... but there are so many kits and im on a tight budget (borke college student). Im looking at the DDM Tuning Raptor Kit because its cheap and ive heard good things about them, but it doesnt have projector housings with it... im not running 6000k HID bulbs without projectors. Also Im not sure if the system will make the computer freak out or not (they talk about som ecars over riding the headlights when HID is hooked up) or if i need anything extra.. and i dont tknow which bulb type to get without projectors. so if anyone knows what i need or where i can get a set of JUST the projector housings that would be great. Becasue if i can get the projectors cheap then i will get the DDM kit... I know Morimoto makes a complete kit but its kinda pricey

 

A lot of people put them in the stock housings, but you are right in wanting to it in projectors. there's some projector build threads on here, i sure someone will chime in, but there was also someone selling a morimoto kit for a pretty good price on here. not sure if it sold or not.

if i had 200 bucks at the moment i would take that in a heartbeat. but i have to save up to get tires soon before my lights get purchased. GReat website too
