HELP....Headlight Removal...HELP!!! (PICS)

So, I ordered a new front end for my rig (new grille, and clear corner headlights and new headlights) I have removed everything except the headlights. I have the Haynes manual and it says that it is held into place with three clips. Ok, so I pull and tug on the those clips but they just wont budge. How in the world do the headlights come out??? These are some pics I snapped so hopefully you guys can point me in the right direction!!

Thanks

looks from the top, there are two black metal tabs pull up on those.

two for each headlight....

edit, that is the 01+

in your case its those silver tabs in the middle picture, pull up on those, they are clips.

This is probably too late, but I find that pushing in slightly on the headlight makes the clips a lot easier to pull up.

i wouldent sugest pulling up on a 98-00 clipe cause they are seated with a tab in a groove and they have to be spread appart then u pull up on them, i have broke my tabs before doing it that way. but its been 3 days since ur last post so u prob got it out.
i use a pair of special plyers caus on the sides of the tab there are 2 holes that the plyers are soposto go into to open the clip.

the newer style are just peices of long metal that u just lift with ur fingers and dont need it like Zach's truck the 98-00 are diffrent.
