Truck Cap (camper) question

I recently picked up a truck cap for $40. It is missing a back window. Anyone know of a place that will put in glass cheaper than $250. I got a qoute for a new door for $250. Will any windshield place do it?

Thanks

I have big plans for the cap. I plan on sanding it down(since it doesnt match the color my truck) and maybe spraying it with the bedliner..Any comments on that would be apreciated too! (or just painting it black like my truck)

well if a windshield place doesnt have it

figure out what type of topper it is (ex ARE, snugtop, etc) then find a local dealer they should be able to locate some glass for you

Never heard of it/them. Anyways, the windows for a shell can be expensive. See if you cant get some plexiglass cut and mounted in there, but it does depend on what type of window was in the back.

Can you take a pic and post it??

I would get it professionally painted. I was going to do the same, then got a hookup on paint...just get it painted, looks way way better, unless it's a beater or trail truck

I just got one myself and I'm spray painting mine myself gloss black to hold up for the winter, then I plan to get it professionally painted but I don't wanna fork out the money now if winter is going to beat on it like it does everything else on my truck
