I think they are the same also. The link did not work for me, but going by the discription in the url, i'm pretty sure they are the same as the ones i just bought on ebay earlier today.

Yeah thats what I thought, I tried emailing the seller, and have not gotten a response in over a week.
I guess my next question would be, does anyone have these headlights, or some similar that work on a 98 XLT?

I dont see why it wouldn't work. The xlt isn't any different as far as headlights go. I dont think the company knows what they're selling.

How did yor install go Southern????
Again the company is saying that they recomend a professional to install the headlight. That sounds kinda overkill to me lol.
Also did you use your existing headlight bulb? or did you get a Silverstar (ir the equivalant) bulb.
I think your right when you said that the company does not know what they are selling.

It was pretty easy...I dont know if the way your headlights are held in are the same as mine, but mine had a couple metal retaining clips, and I messed around with them for a little bit, and then went and got some pliers that are like needle nose, but have a 90 degree bend towards the end and that got them out easy. I did get silverstar ultras for them, but they're not really worth it...I read something comparing them to other lights, including OEM replacements, and light out put with the silverstars is actually slightly less than oem...it has a thin coating on them and it reduces lighting a little, even though it looks brighter.

Oh, and the pic in my avator, those are aftermarket headlights, but I modded them by putting the big projectors in with the silver ring around them, and painted the housings black.

also wondering how the light output on the black aftermarket units is compared to stock, my stock lights are great and i'd like to improve the looks of the truck but i don't want to sacrifice light output, these are the ones i was lookin at

Yeah I am looking at a set that is almost ilke yours except they are chrome instead of black. They are the projector with the halo and small bulb to the bottom inside with corners and bumper lights. How much wireing did you have to do to yours to get them to work? The add says that the ones I am looking at are no mods needed and such.

I got the chrome version of those...except i've modded mine a bit, but before I modded them, the light out put was pretty good...maybe a little brighter if you had the projectors on with the 9007 low/high beam bulbs.

the only wiring is for the halo
i tapped in to the side corner light so when i have my parking brake lights on the halo is on as well if/when you get them i can get pic of the wiring the rest is just plug and play
