man, i feel ya. i put a nice little pinstripe down the side today when i was driving up a trail in the mountains.

luckily white hides scratches pretty well, but im still pissed.

let us know how the touch up goes or whatever you decide to do to fix it

will do, fixing it next week, waiting on the USPS man to drop it off...

got this at the autozone tonight, gonna use this with my paint I ordered... taking it by a bodyshop tomorrow to see if I'm going about it the right way

dont feel bad my first scratch made by me was the truck on its side

hehe, a little touch up paint wouldn't work well on that sadly..

as stated before.use it as a truck, its gonna get beat like a truck. I have nice amount of scratches and cuts from doing work and loading the bed.

Gosh, if a little love-scratch like taht is bad.. he doesnt want to even think of lookign at the front of his truck.. rock marks are aplenty.. at least where I'm from =) I've got a couple nice big shiners on the front of my rig, heh

i saw this commercial for this stuff called fix it. the oxy clean guy billy mayes or whatever did it. i wonder if it works?

worked on it today, just applied the DSG touch up and clear coated, gonna try the rubbing compound tomorrow... hows it look? IMO it looks better, now you can hardly see it...

should I attempt to wetsand it any? or just keep using scratch-x / rubbing compound
