I installed a set of those Thunderbolt ones on Arnald_wannabe's truck....aka HarryTasker. I love them. Too bad they won't fit my 01 mirrors.

I'm talkingabout the thunderbolt ones....but this is probably true on the aftermarket ones too...

The way the mirror itself mounts to the housing...are different 01 vs 02.

The Roush/SLP/Thunderbolt signal mirror kits work on 2002~2005 Ranger power mirrors. Ford did a mid year change to the power mirrors during 2001, so these MAY also also fit late 2001MY Rangers.

For 1996~2001.5 Rangers, Muth makes a signal mirror kit but it is a lot more money. http://www.muthco.com/products/kits/200-0037.htm

From Muth's website:
This particular mirror experienced a running change for the 2001 model year during 2001 build dates. Vehicles with the new style mount will use the 2002 kit found on this page.

Shane, didn't you have another kind of mirror mounted turn signal? I'd like to see how that was done too.
