Up-To-Date State Tint Laws
Up-To-Date State Tint Laws
Great find! When I was pulled over for speeding the officer checked my tint with his little doohicky (sorry for the technobabble). I was at 11% on driver window. I have 15% tint all around (except for front of course) and the factory privacy tint. Using my uber-elite math skillz I was able to deduce that factory privacy tint is 4%. Dang I'm a jeenyiss!
On that site it says pick up trucks dont count as a mpv, but when i called my local place that does tinting they said i could go as dark as i want on my rear side windows. ct tint laws are not that bad at 35% on the side but i still plan on getting 20% and 5% where i can.
I have "limo" on all my back windows over the factory tint. I got pulled over for my tint once and he put the little laser deal on my driver window and it read 7%.....Its a really good thing I got pulled over I probably would have killed someone at night, I couldnt see ANYTHING........anyway, I got it redone to 20% on the sides, I love it....still slightly illegal, but I love it.
just checking...
So in CA when it says 70% under the F.Side category... does that mean I can only tint to 70% on my front two windows? ("ANY" on the B.Side, I assume means you can tint however you want on the back windows correct?)

How does one determine the exact build date for my 2002 Ranger, 2.3 engine? I'm trying to determine if the coolant should be green (built before 7/15/2002) or gold, built after 7/15/2002. I can't seem to keep it from over heating. I've replace the thermostat, water pump, reservoir and cap, hoses, everything!
