Westin Bull-Bars, with a body lift
hey guys i was looking to buy a Bull-Bar for the Ranger, but i need to know if the product actually bolts up onto the frame, and being that i have the 3" body lift, will this make the fitment awkward and 3 inches lower then the body.
any input it great, pictures/example would be a major plus thanks, tyler |
Yea, it attaches underneith the bumper to the frame like the safari bar. Im sure someone is going to post a pic

ya i have one and it does attatch to the frame and it would work with a body loift but it would hang down 3inches below ur bumper and i dont think u can make brackets to move it up cause the distance the bars are apart are the same as the frame rails, if that makes any sence at all to u, lol.

I just put one on mine that has a 3" BL. I dont think it looks goofy at all. I'll get pics tommorow if you want.

It does mount to the frame, and should look decent even with a body lift

YEah, I just sold mine... I has to brackets that bolt to the frame with 4 screws and 2 bolts that go through the frame. Then the bar bolts to those brackets underneath the bumper. If you are worried about ground clearance I wouldn't recommend it as it will be sitting about 3 inches lower that your front bumper plus the bar is 2.5" thick, so it will be 5.5" under your bumper and will cover up your license plate.

pics would be a great helps, thanks guys |
