where can i get a westin ultimate bull gaurd or just a simple middle section of a grill guard for a 93 ranger? i cant really find what im looking for

^^^ that wont work on a 1993 unless he fabbed up custom brackets...

 

I have some custom fabed brackets on there now. I just used slotted angle iron and a bunch of bolts.

I hope he never takes that thing offroad, talk about high centering like mad.

 

rarely ever leaves the highway, they do drag in 6" of snow. didnt mean for them to be quite that low, but the original setup had them against the rockers and un-usable. took 3x3 angle, trussed them with flat iron, and made a brace to the frame. theres other pics around here of the mounts but i dont feel like digging them up right now, youve probly seen them anyways.

 

Yeah mine aren't too usable either, they work i just gotta stick my foot in a little bit. Once its body lifted it will be fine tho.

 

ya i understand that one. the set i have for my truck were so close and under the rocker i couldnt use them at all. basically a set of sliders... i made a 1.5" spacers to move them out more but didnt drop them...



bill had the same kind as you. they are bolted to the body correct? after a body lift they are 100% the same they move with the body...

 

Nooo I'm pretty sure they mount to the frame. I'm not 100% sure tho

 

i doubt that do outside and take a look
