Spare tire tail gate

TireGate

I found this in a magazine. It says the Ranger one should be available 1/15/06...so maybe it is and they haven't updated their site. It looks pretty nifty. I knwo some of you guys are looking for ways to mount your full size spare... so here's a nice way.

they are up on 4wheelparts, i think they are almost 800+...

i like the fact that you can have it face in or out, so you can have the whole bed still when it faces out

a lil pricey aint it? you can have the same effect and keep your tailgate with that rat-cage thing. its alot cheaper and looks better.

Pretty expensive. I was going to build one kind of like that -- but then I got the one from Carl that goes on the toolbox, so I'm not so anxious now.

I like the way the tailgate one is "reversible" so you can use the bed space. That's a nice feature.

$800 and really its not much better then mine is now, just laying in the bed. Even if you turn the tailgate around for $800 it doesn't make that much room. I think it looks a little dorky with it turned around.

Because you can't fit a 33x12.50 or a 35x12.50 in the stock location.

Doc had the B2 swinging tire thing.

How well does it fit cuz I can't get my 265/75/16 tucked up in. My hitch is in the way and then it sits on the exhaust pipe.

Mine fits pretty well, but i have a body lift which helps. The tire doesn't touch the hitch or the Exahust, though it is close to the tailpipe, it doesn't
Touch.

I'll post a pic after work.
