You can't see through my truck anymore!
Well, its been over a year, so I finally picked up some vinyl covering and made gap guards for my truck. Now people can't watch the traffic through the side of my truck anymore. :006:
I bought the material from Home Depot, it cost me about $12.00 for 6 foot. Because of the body lift the front splash guards weren't doing much, so I made my own with 3" extensions as well. I cleaned it up, and took a few photos down at the local track afterwards. http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...7/DSC01208.jpg Stock splash guard http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...7/DSC01211.jpg Splash guard removed http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...7/DSC01213.jpg New splash guard vs. stock http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...7/DSC01226.jpg New splash guard during flexing http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...7/DSC01219.jpg Without gap guard http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...7/DSC01222.jpg With the new gap guard http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...7/DSC01229.jpg http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...7/DSC01228.jpg http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1.../DSC01228p.jpg PS of my favorite shot of the day |
