Ok, how yall doin. Ive got a 2000 3.0 rang, love her to death but im lookin to install a glasspack on her or straight pipes.. I threw the straight pipe idea away because the flange on my truck is behind one silencer and the cat so I would have to rmove entire manifold back system, buy a new cat, install 10 feet of pipe yadda yadda so screw that. Next idea was a cherry bomb type glasspack, company doesnt matter, performance in the form of noise does. I found a 30 incher at autozone. Is it true the longer the pack the "rumblyer" the noise? i dont want a pissed off bumble bee noise and ive already done the airbox mod so im just lookin for a good, solid, cheap sound. Is my idea ok or what are your opinions? thanks yall

 

the shorter the glasspack, the louder you get. turn it around backwards, louder it gets. longer will be a little quieter and possibly a little more rumble. if you wan rumble get a magnaflow. I love mine.

get a magnaflow or flowmaster and get two turn-downs for it. walk into a muffler shop and tell them you want a piece of pipe around 6-7 inches long with a 40 degree bend in it, cut off at an angle
