Superlift Shock hoops Pictures!!
Yes, I know the reservoirs are OVERKILL, but the shop gave them to me for only 50 bucks more than some Bilsteins, so I said why not.....
A little closer up...
Lower mount.
Ewww, *** dragging!! (waiting on shackle)

I'm well aware that I didnt gain any travel.
It was a pissing match trying to get superlift shocks, because they have their heads up their *** at the moment... and just getting Ranger shocks in general in a lifted application is kinda a pain in the ***, Now I can run any standard shock. Does it make me a mall crawler because I did it partially for badass looks?
I do wheel the truck, thats why I got the kit. They also welded a standard mount to the A-arm..
But the ride quality of these shocks is quite noticeable, and I really like it!!
I just noticed the shocks have heims in them, no bushings...
The shock hoops are 1.75 DOM, .120 wall.
Coilovers may go in the future.

I still have to shackle lift the back (already has an AAL) to bring it up to level, and I'm going to make a skid plate for the front pumpkin. My level 2 skidplate is still in place guarding the accessory drive on the motor..

Travel is a word that is thrown around so much... I'd rather have 10" of CLEAN travel with great shocks than have 17" of travel and ****ty shocks.
Looks great kev, let me know when you want to come over and we can strap it

The amount of shock you have doesnt depend on how much travel you have. The camburg edge race truck was running 2 2.5" resi shocks with only 9-10" of travel.

What I mean is, those shocks appear to have a super long stroke, which is what makes it look funny in my opinion, that is all.
If it rides well (as I'm sure it does) that is awesome, like I said. Having standard shock mounts is a plus too. Functionality wise, it is great (or will be once it is strapped).
If I were to do something like this on a "stock" ranger it would be similar to the camburg 4x4 upgrade with bilstein 7100's and reservoirs.
I just thought it looked out of place on that setup, that was my only point.
