Body Lifted the Reg Cab

So I was sick of the stock height..ordered me a bl and now I wanna go higher. Love the look with the 31s but I need bigger. The 4cyl probably won't like that too much tho..anyways..on with the pics

there's a few before the bl and a couple after shots

Yeah..def need to get taller..and a bit wider, but it's still an improvement.

I just noticed that I messed up the title and put Rec cab..if one of the mods could fix that..that'll be cool

that's what she said....

it does look better, a wider stance would set it off really good.

Looks good. If you double lift it and put on some bigger tires, spend the little bit of money to re-gear. You're only 2wd so re-gearing won't cost you a ton.

I wanna double lift..don't know what route to go though. I don't know if I should wait to find a JY 4.10 Axel cuz I would like to find one that has a ls rear too..or if I should spend the money for a regear out back and call it a day. I don't plan on wheelin crazy..but I do take the 2wd off road at times. 32s and some rims and I'll be happy. For now..

For those who know..how crap is the ride with 2" coil spacers?? I know u need longer shocks..wut about other suspension components??

Thanks for the comments guys

your gonna be waiting a long time to find a local 4.10 ls 8.8, and it still wont be enough gear for your duratak. need 4.56's for 31's as a general and if your thinking of going 33's just put 4.88's. spacers are gonna make the ride stiffer etc, make sure u buy steel or ductile iron spacers not urethanes or plastic. suspensionmaxx or something like that sells 2" lift springs for like 120$ and people on trs vouch for them but never had any personal experience

I don't see how spacers would make the ride stiffer. All they do is push the coil down some. Maybe I'm just uneducated on that though.

I actually have no problems with the 373 gears I have with the 31s..the truck still has some get up and go..it's 5th gear that's useless. Maybe cuz I'm standard I can still get thru the gears ok..? I dunno..thanks for the info on the springs..I'm gonna look into either spindles or spacers..and def the wider stance will come with some rims..in time...thanks for the comments and help
