Gorman Offroading Day 2/28/10
This past weekend, on Sunday, my buddy invited me for an offroading trip. I decided to bring my truck out and also brought my cousin along as well. There was a total of 4 trucks. My 04 Ranger, my cousin's 06 Frontier, my buddy's 97 4Runner and a K5.
It was a blast and I was pleasantly surprised on how well we all did. My Ranger is open-diff'd, the Frontier has LS but was on bald all-season (stock) tires. Both the 4Runner and K5 were 4WD, so they helped us out whenever we got stuck. I got stuck once (b/c the frontier got stuck and I had to stop) and the Frontier got stuck like 3 times, but it went through a HELL of a lot, so it did pretty dang well. Onward to pictures!!
American vs Japanese
Okay, i'm too lazy, no more captions...

I don't on the top of my head, but if we go, i'll remember
The mud did cake, but it wasn't a problem for me. The only part I got stuck was b/c of soft sand. What tires are you running? Even my cousin's frontier, running bald all-season tires did okay in the mud.
No, he didn't. The picture was his third attempt. He jumped every single time. We cautioned him from doing it again though, b/c the way it looked when it landed.. it was like the limit of what his truck could do, until he mods it some.
The xterra was just there. We told him that the top of the hill had a HUGE (i'm talking like half truck deep) mud-pit. He went for it. The 4runner was running some cheap-o mud-terrains. They were like.. "ECTERA" of something like that.
haha, it was a pretty crazy thing he did. No dent though
