seed60 05-26-2010 07:14 AM

I always thought they'd look cool on a Ranger.

gibsondale 05-26-2010 08:01 AM

Was just going over a few old post and go to this one…

WHAT IF… you made a mount that fit lower on the door around the mirror area.
Either reproduce the Mirror mount and add a Light Tab or make an overlay for the mirror mount and bolt to the door.
Opening and closing the door will wear on the filament but it might work there better than higher up.
Any wiring could go through the Pwrd Mirror wiring routing, easier said than done.

Just thinking out loud, smoke from too much wood burning...

that actually sounds like a good idea, make a mount the mounts with the mirror with a bracket for the light, im sure it could look really good

The look like mickey mouse ears or just really out of place. Light bar is ten times better I believe.
