It isn't completely done yet. Need to add some support for the new mounts but my buddy didn't have enough time. Once everything is finished I'll post up new pics.

Yes more travel and also the cage was built for 14" shocks. The Kings are 16" and didn't fit where the other shocks were mounted.

I had the Bilsteins set up for a 2:1 shock ratio. Now since I have bigger and better shocks I just set it up for a 1:1 shock ratio. The ride difference is like day and night.

oh snap.kiiings. Maybe want to setup for double sheer though(just incase), just wrap another half circle tube around the other side of the shock.

You getting any new front upgrades soon? thats alot of money in rear suspesion to not go up in front :)

I was planning on it but I'm moving into a house with my buddy so rent is in my way. Living at home is nice cause it's free but it's time to move on. LT front end will be in the future but $800/month for rent is gonna make it take forever to get done.

Lol that's only my half. My buddy is paying the other $875. We are paying $1675 a month for 2 bed 2 bath. That's actually low for where we are living. We are pretty much going to be next to Chapman college in Orange. Normal cost for something like that around here is $2000 to $2500 easy. So if I lived where you did my truck would be completly done. Since I live here in Orange County where everything is wanna be lifestyles of the rich and famous I have to pay that amount to live.

Oh yeah we aren't done 100% with the cage. We are going to add support bars for the new mounts and then double sheer it from there. My buddy didn't have time the other day so we just got enough done to where we could mount the shocks.

ok good. I seen the after math of a 1500lb sand rail that didn't dbl sheer. i can't imagine a 4k lb truck

Looks good. X2 on the double shear shock mount. Good choice on bypass over smooth bodies. Now if I could just get the back of my truck done to match the front!

Nice bedcage man. Nice upgrade from those bilsteins.
It's nice seeing some other people who're into the desert trucks.

these are just shocks, not coilovers. so they dont have near the force on them.

single shear will probably be ok but optimum would be double shear.

Ok... so are you still running leafs? I mean, I just don't see getting 16" of travel out of a leaf pack.
