Thats just about the same exact idea I had pictured in my head for whenever I get my butt around to it!! I like the diff skid too....how it wraps up underneeth. Hides the uglyness of the superlift crossmembers. Looks real good man. Damn I wish I had the dough for the plate right now!!

Down at the bottom will mount completely different than whats pictured if you've got a non-superlifted truck. Just FYI.

yeah the crossmembers on the superlift made it perfect to mount the plate to. Now i just need a skid plate on the gas tank and im all set lol

I didnt take any measurements... but since ur not superlifted it would be alot harder to mount... youd probably be better off finding a stock skid plate... just sayin

Hey guys. My name's Kyle, I'm Joe's buddy that made the plate.

I can probably get most if not all of the dimensions from what I wrote down that day. What I do remember right now is that the front portion was ~31" in width at the widest point (closest to the bumper) and ~12.667" at the narrowest point (joining to the base plate). From about where I welded the mounts on to the frame, down to the corners of the base plate (bolted to bottom of crossmembers) was ~28" as far as I can remember. Hopefully I am not mixing these numbers up, I wouldn't take my word for it yet. I'll try to look if anything is still written on the rest of the metal. But if not, I'm sure Joe wouldn't mind measuring the plate for you guys.

Same here! Much better than the stock sheet metal skid plate.

And not totally completely gay like the superlift optional $250 'skid plate'.
