Just bought my new 05 Ranger Edge about two weeks ago, and currently enjoying everything about it. However, there are to small spots in the bed that have rusted, and formed quarter sized holes. I'm hoping to cut and replace those spots, then have the bed lined. Does anyone know of anywhere to find replacement corrugated panels, or have the ability to fabricate a couple panels? that I could weld in? I was hoping just to go to the junk yard and cut a piece out of a truck, but the lady I spoke with at the yard said they don't allow that .

may be easier and cheaper to just buy some sheet metal of the same gauge and cut a square piece just big enough to replace the hole and a little bit around it. If you weld it in and grind the welds pretty good after the spray in you probably won't even notice. I haven't heard of anyone selling just the panels but one place you may try is LMC truck if the parts are available they probably have them. i did a quick look but i only saw the side panels but they do have a 22 gauge steel patch panel kit that may work for you.

 

You can probably try craigslist as well and see if anyone is parting out a ranger that is willing to let you cut out a panel or even sell you the bed for cheap.

 

Have someone weld in a small patch and grind it down as Pearlkid said. It shouldn't take them long. Once you do a heavy bedliner over it you won't see it. I did it on my truck.
