hitch

got pulled over because the ball on my bumper was blocking my plate, this got the ball rolling. i have needed a hitch for a while now but i didnt want to spend $100 on one, so i built it. its all 1/8th inch thick tubing and the mounting brackets are 1/4 thick.

ignore the messy garage we are remodeling the house

pictures

I can now fit ANOTHER BIKE!

Nice work. I didn't think they pulled people over for that, but I guess it makes sense.

Except not. When you have two bikes in the bed you need the tailgate down and if the gate is down the one on the hitch wont fit lol. looks good though. I just wouldnt be putting anything much bigger than a bike on that hitch.

i know that, i ment another bike with having the tail gate closed, makes more free space in my bed.
and the max i will be pulling is a 6x10 utility trailer, it is plenty strong for that. it will be able to hold as much as the truck can safely pull.
