Honestly I'm not sure. But you have a welder! It's worth having a look at, I'd bet you could cut it off with a wheel and weld a rectangle piece into the bottom and spray it flat black or something.

Looks really good! Are you going to fill in the sides/back at all?
Like this?

I think that with a new skid plate would really clean it up and look even more BA!

Yeah, i was thinkin the same thing. I'll mock up a rear bumper in the next few days and draw the cut plans in autocad. hopefully i will have enough to add these pieces, it would really help the look from the side.

Tre, ill get you those measurements for the tube i need also.

roughly 1.5" and the thickness doesnt really matter because its not structural, basically just a light bar.

Alright, got you a 55in piece cut.... 1.50" OD with a lil less than 1/8in wall.... How does that sound? Come get it from me at school... I'll be leaving for home around 8 or so, so I won't be going back into Corvallis.

Thanks Tre!
I wont need it for about 3 weeks or more since i wont be going back to hillsboro and that is where my welder is. if you need me to come get it so its out of the way i can, but otherwise i dont really need it now.

I'll try to get the autocad finished up this weekend too.

Here is my current set up. hoping to make a plate one soon to match the front then maybe some rectangular tubing sliders to bring it all together in the future.

nice i'm going to make a rear soon out of square tube and saw your back bumper poking out in a picture and was wondering what it looked like, what did you have in mind for the plate bumper?

maybe something kind of like this minus the spare tire carrier. I will integrate the spot for backup lights, possibly a hitch, and i think i may make it wrap around the sides a bit.

and this one is just sex!
